I confess to be overly analytical but try not to take life too seriously. I really enjoy engaging with and discussing current affairs and consider life through a philosophical lens. I stay fit, love music - modern and classical - opera, theater and the arts in pretty much all forms. I love to hike in amazing spaces, with my English Setter whenever possible.
Handy with tools, I'm a home-builder; I love making order out of chaos; this includes in my kitchen. I'm British but lived in California for 24 years and now have a footprint in both places. I no longer work full time, but keep an advisory hand in my professional arena of medical innovation. Now making up for lost time in life and love.
