I honestly think I have a lot to offer. First of all, I really am 64. Putting out false information on a dating site is a waste of everyone's time in my humble opinion.
I have a great life, I'm financially independent and I'm certainly not in need of being rescued by a man. I am very lucky to be healthy and active and am determined to keep it that way.
I work full time in the NHS and am considering retirement but still enjoy my work too much at the moment. In my free time the things I enjoy most are time spent with friends (I love cooking by the way, even though sometimes I get a little too ambitious), being outdoors even in winter and spending time with my 2 little grandsons who think I am marvellous (for now).
I have been single for a long time following my (fairly) amicable divorce many years ago. This does not mean I am a sad singleton, anything but!
I have met some lovely men in the last few years but for one reason or another, I have yet to meet my future partner. I am convinced he is out there!
About her ideal match
At our age, we all have a certain amount of emotional baggage but ideally, he will be ready to start a new relationship. He will need freedom to do his own thing whether that's time to be with his family or watch cricket or rugby in peace. I think this bit is important because I would also need time and space to do the same (not cricket or rugby though!).
As intolerant as it sounds he will be in good health and active and most importantly of all, be kind and honest with a great sense of humour.
