About him
I'd like to think that in getting to know me you'll enjoy someone who is good company, who can be flirty and fun but also sustain a deep conversation about serious stuff. I have wide-ranging interests in lots of things and like to think I have a positive outlook on life. I also like to think of myself as emotionally intelligent: I'm very patient and calm and quite good in a crisis (not that I have many of those, thankfully!). I have tons of interests that include major DIY, singing in choirs, classical music, going to the theatres and museums, gardening, growing vegetables, being sustainable, exploring ancient ruins, National Trust properties, archeological sites, and generally visiting places where history is deep and vibrant.
I'm fit and active but not a gym junkie, I'm lucky in that I've always had a natural fitness and general zest for life. Most people say I look young for my age, deep joy!
I like animals but would prefer to in a relationship that does not include having to look after pets or animals.
To relax, I'd enjoy a good quality meal with good company and a nice glass of merlot, or going to a classical music concert, or visiting a museum or National Trust property. I love hot sunny places, so going off to a beautiful historic city or location in a warm climate would be fab. I do enjoy beaches but after about 30 minutes on my towel I'd be looking for something to do...
