About her
I’ve spent my life in the law (on the right side, before you ask) and planning to (semi-) retire very soon. So I reckon it’s time to make a concerted effort to find my prince and ride off into the sunset. I’m just not too sure exactly where that sunset will be as yet, but I’m thinking of moving to the West Country in a year or so (hence confusing location reference of both Sevenoaks & West Country!) - not too far west, maybe Somerset/ Wiltshire ways, plus hopefully with a small pied-a-terre in Italy if all goes to plan.
My two children have flown the nest but my little dog is still here with me, just a mongrel rescue but cute and small. These days she’s as deaf as a post and eyesight is failing but at least that gives her a better excuse for entirely ignoring all commands.
So far, people still mistake me for a lot younger, and I was happy (and a bit amazed) to recently learn that I have a “biological age” 21 years younger than mine. I’m not certain precisely what that amounts to on a practical basis, but hey, I’ll take it! At least it means I’m fit enough for the 15 minute sprint to the station which I seem to have to do on a regular basis, punctually not being one of my strong points.
I’m upbeat, fairly gregarious, confident and kind. My profile is entirely honest, inc photos recent and untouched. I’m considered gently amusing and quick to laugh and smile. I’m very close to my family (children and siblings) and have a good circle of loyal friends whom I see regularly, but I do miss having someone special in my life.
I'd want to start on a friendship basis as I don’t rush into relationships, but when I’m in one, I’m loving, demonstrative and loyal.
I'll have a pretty busy life, including working 4-5 days a week, for the for next 6 months or so, after which I'm relying on a more relaxed pace of life, but please forgive me if I'm a little tardy responding in the meantime!
