Like travelling, have visited or stayed in quite a few countries not long enough to have fully learnt another language, so tend to get correct lingo mixed up wherever I go! My schoolboy French is probably the best, or Spanish. Reasonably competent cook, can do Xmas dinner for 6 - 8 people, and other stuff too! Have my own signature dish, (doesn't every cook? My late wife certainly did),
will cook it for someone who wants to get to know me. (Not telling anyone till I know them) Love talking to people, volunteer at local NT place in the RAF museum there, explaining Radar developement during WW11, and why it was so important. love reading and don't do enough of it really. Like making models, mostly ships, made of wood and construct them as they were built originally, building keeel. planking masys and rigging. (that's probably all very boring and like ly to turn off most ladies I suspect , but I have to say that I might disappear into mancave ocasionally!

Would like to meet a lady who likes cats, (I only have one - Dolly) she is great companion, but has limited conversation.
